The outpatient office approach ensures that therapy is accessible outside of traditional office settings, while maintaining the support of a team-oriented environment through regular meetings and case reviews.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, focusing on personalized treatment plans that address specific client needs and goals.

• Perform comprehensive intakes and assessments to evaluate and understand clients’ emotional states and relational dynamics, leading to targeted intervention strategies.

• Document clinical notes in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state regulations, HIPAA standards, and organizational policies to maintain accurate records.

• Engage in regular team meetings and peer supervision sessions, which provide an opportunity for ongoing professional development and adherence to high standards of care.

• Participate in outreach activities that promote mental health awareness within the community, working to diminish stigmas associated with seeking therapy services.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, using established evidence-based practices to effectively manage and resolve acute emotional distress and crises.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse populations that include individuals dealing with trauma, families undergoing transitions, and couples experiencing relational conflicts. Your ability to connect with clients from varied backgrounds is crucial, as you will guide them through personal struggles and support them in reaching their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT in the state of Vermont.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish trust and rapport with clients.

• Demonstrated capacity to apply clinical judgment effectively, with support from team members when necessary.

• Commitment to confidentiality and strict adherence to ethical guidelines.

• Proven experience in providing trauma-informed care, working with families in crisis, and assisting clients through life transitions.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
