Assistant Project Manager

Location: Fremont, CA (Hybrid/Onsite Flex) Schedule: Part-Time (20–30 Hours/Week, Monday–Friday) Duration: 2-Year Contract Pay Rate: Up to $39.36/hour Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support multiple projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking schedules and budgets, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects remain on track. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with Power BI experience considered a plus. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers and Project Leads throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation. Track project progress, budgets, risks, and timelines, providing regular status updates. Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project activities. Assist with project planning, task assignments, and follow-up on action items. Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and reporting. Troubleshoot project issues and elevate risks when necessary. Support administrative activities related to project execution and coordination. Required Qualifications Previous experience in project coordination, project administration, or project support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint . Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Power BI or other reporting and data visualization tools. Experience supporting cross-functional or technical project teams. Familiarity with project tracking, reporting, and budget management. Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, technology, or industrial environments.
