This full-time remote position allows you to provide impactful mental health services via telehealth, focusing on trauma-informed care. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s history and tailor your therapeutic approach accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through effective coping strategies and promoting their healing journeys.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Stay current with best practices and research in trauma therapy to inform your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your efforts will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes but is not limited to childhood trauma, domestic abuse, and other significant life events that impact mental health. Working with a diverse patient population, you will be instrumental in helping them navigate their challenges and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LPC in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the ability to implement trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

Compensation and Benefits\n

Banyan Recovery & Treatment Centers offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide:
