Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a CVOR position requiring ACLS, BLS, and prior CVOR experience.

Job Details

• Hospital CVOR unit with 2 OR suites and a staff of 3 RNs and 3 CSTs,
• Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM,
• 1:1 patient ratio,
• Uses Meditech EMR,
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required,
• May float to other OR areas as needed,
• 13-week assignment,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required,
• ACLS and BLS certification required,
• CVOR experience required,
• Scrubbing experience preferred,
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required,
• State licensure required if applicable,
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration,
• One professional reference required,

Additional Information

• Perform surgical technologist duties for CVOR procedures including CABG, thoracotomy, endo AAA, valve replacement, and pacemaker placement,
• Work alongside a collaborative team of RNs and CSTs in a fast-paced surgical environment,
• Ideal candidates are flexible, knowledgeable, and self-starters,
• Light blue scrub attire provided by facility,
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius will not be considered,
• First-time travelers may be considered
