About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Schedule: Per Diem What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease‑specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease‑specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point‑of‑Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar‑scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs. Licenses & Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
