About This Role The Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Surgery/OR provides direct care to a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective collaboration and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient assessments. Requirements Education Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required. Experience Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program. Minimum of 1 year of main OR nursing experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required. ACLS/PALS certification preferred. CNOR preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
