About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Pediatric ICU at Hackensack Meridian Health provides individualized patient care based on evidence-based practices and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This per diem position is ideal for nurses with pediatric ICU experience who are committed to delivering high-quality care. Highlights Location : Neptune, NJ Facility : Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule : Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care. Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with colleagues and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically. Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness. Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience: 1-2 years of pediatric ICU nursing experience. Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire. PALS required. IV/port/telemetry certification required. ACLS preferred. APHON certification preferred.
