Gohanna Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and student-focused School Nurse for a long-term substitute assignment supporting one of our client school districts in Vermont during the 2026/2027 school year.

In this role, you will be employed by Gohanna Staffing Solutions and placed in a supportive school environment where your clinical expertise directly contributes to student health, safety, and overall wellbeing.

You will work with students in a dynamic educational setting from August through October 2026, collaborating with educators and administrators to promote a healthy school community.

What You’ll Do

As a School Nurse, you will:

• Provide essential health services and nursing care to students
• Support student wellness, safety, and health education across the school environment
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Respond to student health needs and emergency situations
• Apply your expertise across pediatric, community, emergency, adult, and mental health nursing
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or eligible)
• Eligibility for Vermont Educator License (School Nurse endorsement 3-65)
• Experience supporting students in a school or youth-focused setting (preferred)
• Strong clinical knowledge in general and school nursing
• A collaborative, flexible, and student-centered approach
