This entry-level position involves operating a metal stamping machine in a large, air-conditioned production shop. You will work around large industrial equipment, perform basic visual quality checks on metal parts, and support other departments as needed. The role requires consistent standing, regular lifting of 2050 pounds, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate a metal stamping machine safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on metal parts to ensure they meet required standards.
• Stand at the machine for the majority of the workday while monitoring production.
• Lift and move materials and parts weighing between 20 and 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Follow production procedures and safety guidelines when working around large machinery.
• Assist in other departments and production areas as needed to support overall workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Communicate any equipment issues, defects, or production concerns to the appropriate personnel.

You will work four-day weeks, spending most of your shift standing at a metal stamping machine and handling materials weighing 2050 pounds. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Lake, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
