Immigration Attorney – Hybrid (Silver Spring, MD)
\nOur growing immigration law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Immigration Attorney to join our team in a hybrid role based in Silver Spring, Maryland.
\nWe are a fast-paced, client-focused practice handling complex immigration matters, including removal defense, asylum, family-based immigration, waivers, federal litigation, and humanitarian cases. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, confident litigator, and capable of independently managing a demanding caseload while mentoring junior attorneys and legal staff.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Represent clients before the Immigration Court and USCIS \n
- Handle complex removal defense matters, including asylum, CAT, cancellation, and waivers \n
- Prepare and litigate motions, briefs, and appeals before EOIR and the BIA \n
- Conduct client consultations and develop case strategy \n
- Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staff \n
- Participate in federal district court litigation, including mandamus and APA actions (preferred) \n
- Maintain high standards of client communication and case management \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Two plus years experience in immigration law \n
- Significant Immigration Court experience required \n
- Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills \n
- Ability to independently manage litigation-heavy caseloads \n
- Federal litigation experience strongly desired \n
- Maryland and Virginia bar admissions are a huge plus \n
- Spanish language fluency is a major plus \n

- Salary range: $100,000 – $175,000, depending on experience \n
