Job Description

ModelRush.ai gives developers and creators access to AI image, video, text, and voice models through a unified API and web playground.

We’re looking for a hands-on growth lead to work directly with the founder. Your job is to understand our best customers, find more people like them, and turn that work into repeatable, profitable growth.

\n

You’ll own the work from the first customer conversation through activation, payment, and continued usage.

\n

\n

What you’ll do

\n

\n
• Talk to paying customers to understand what they build, why they choose ModelRush, and what would make them use it more.
\n
• Identify promising customer segments, including AI application developers, creative tools, agencies, and production teams.
\n
• Find and engage potential customers. Run demos, help them evaluate the product, and follow through on integration and payment.
\n
• Build partnerships with relevant tools, workflow builders, creators, and communities.
\n
• Run focused growth experiments across customer outreach, partnerships, referrals, search, and product onboarding. Choose channels based on evidence.
\n
• Work with the founder and engineering team to address barriers to first successful generation, payment, and repeat usage.
\n
• Use AI tools and automation to speed up research, content, reporting, and execution.
\n
• Report what worked, what didn’t, what it cost, and what we should do next.

What we’re looking for

\n

\n
• Experience growing an early-stage API, developer tool, AI product, or self-serve software business.
\n
• Examples of customers you personally helped acquire and retain. You can explain your contribution, acquisition costs, and business results.
\n
• Confidence talking to developers and creators. You can learn an API, run a basic demo, and explain pricing clearly.
\n
• Strong customer development, outreach, and partnership skills.
\n
• Comfort working with funnel data, customer cohorts, attribution gaps, and unit economics.
\n
• Clear written and spoken English.
\n
• The ability to decide what matters and execute with a small team and a limited budget.
\n

ModelRush serves a broad range of creative use cases, including adult-oriented image and video generation. You should be comfortable working with this product category within our content policies.

What success looks like

\n

In your first 30 days, you’ll understand our paying customers, establish a reliable growth baseline, and choose a focused customer segment and experiment plan.

\n

\n

By days 60–90, you should have brought in new paying customers, gathered evidence of continued usage, and identified which acquisition approaches deserve further investment. We’ll agree on specific targets after reviewing the baseline together.

\n

\n

We’ll measure success through new paying customers, retained usage, contribution after provider costs, and acquisition efficiency. Traffic and registrations will help explain those results.

\n
