Quality Control Manager

Job Description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Manager for a manufacturing company in Frisco, TX. A successful Quality Control Manager should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $30-$35 an hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician: • Generate management review reports and maintain meeting schedules.
• Plan and execute inter-laboratory comparison studies to validate the accuracy and reliability of our analytical results.
• Collaborate with external laboratories to benchmark and improve testing methodologies
• Obtain internal auditor training and certification for ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.
• Coordinate and perform internal audits as required.
• Report on audit results and ensure required follow-up actions are completed in a timely fashion.
• Monitor and enhance company and laboratory processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documents and records including procedures, process controls, corrective action, KPI's, quality control data, etc.
• Suggest and implement improvements based on available data.
• Follow up on areas that are missing targets.

Required Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:

• Strong knowledge of inter-laboratory comparisons, equipment maintenance, and calibration processes.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Associate degree in a relevant scientific field. Experience may be substituted for degree.
• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory or test setting.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.
