Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate mental health assessments to understand patients' unique needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to support individuals and groups in achieving their mental health goals.

• Facilitate supportive psychoeducational groups that help patients learn coping strategies and foster connections with peers.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic patient care and ensure seamless coordination of services.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to enhance understanding and support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations and participate in team meetings to continuously improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.

• Stay informed about the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in mental health therapy to offer the most effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington state.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment techniques.

• Demonstrated skill in conducting mental health assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a diverse range of populations, showcasing cultural sensitivity and adaptability in approaches.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members.
\n
• Adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries, with sound judgment in clinical decision-making.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
