Temporary Receptionist

Temporary Receptionist LaSalle Network is hiring a Temporary Receptionist to provide front desk coverage for a well-established industrial company in downtown Chicago. This is a great opportunity for a polished, professional individual who enjoys creating a welcoming environment and keeping daily office operations running smoothly. This short-term assignment is ideal for someone who is personable, organized and able to jump into a new environment with confidence. Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and guests by greeting, checking in and directing them appropriately Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages and transfer calls to the appropriate departments Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages Provide light administrative support as needed throughout the day Maintain a professional, organized and welcoming front desk environment Requirements: Previous receptionist, front desk or administrative experience preferred Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a new environment Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic Microsoft Office applications Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Key Details: Compensation: $20-22/hr based on experience Location: Chicago, IL (West Loop) Work Model: Fully onsite Employment Type: Contract Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Benefits: LaSalle Network consultants are eligible to enroll in benefits.
