Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this rewarding contract role, you’ll support students in their physical development and functional skills, both during the upcoming summer session and throughout the 2026-2027 school year. What You’ll Bring:
- A valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Maine
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess, design, and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
- Thorough understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct PT services to K-8 students 4 hours per week
- Develop, update, and implement individualized intervention plans to support student mobility and access to the school curriculum
- Monitor student progress and adjust goals as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student success in the classroom and beyond
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on mobility, accessibility, and safe movement within the school environment
This position covers the summer school term (07/07/2026-07/30/2026) and continues for the full 2026-2027 academic year (08/24/2026-06/11/2027), offering a consistent, meaningful part-time schedule.
