After-School Teacher's Aide

Monday–Friday | Approximately 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Little Building Blocks is seeking dependable, energetic high school students to join our team as Teacher's Aides . If you enjoy working with children, are interested in education or childcare, and want to gain valuable hands-on experience, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Supervise and engage children during centers, outdoor play, snack, and transitions.
• Read stories, play games, and help create a fun, nurturing environment.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Assist with end-of-day classroom cleaning and closing duties to prepare for the next day's activities.
• Work as part of a supportive team to provide exceptional care for our children.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 16 years old .
• Currently enrolled in high school.
• Dependable, responsible, and punctual.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enjoys working with young children.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday. Consistent attendance is essential to providing reliable care for our children.
• Applicants with limited after-school commitments are preferred , as regular availability throughout the school year is important for this position.
