Work Environment\n

Our work setting is primarily remote, allowing you to provide impactful counseling from the comfort of your home, with opportunities to engage with clients and team members through virtual platforms. While your primary schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, employing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's journey.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that utilize motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy to encourage positive change.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment where clients can share experiences and foster mutual encouragement.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure integrated care and optimal outcomes for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention strategies during emergencies, ensuring clients feel supported and safe.

• Educate clients and their families about recovery strategies, treatment options, and local community resources to promote long-term resilience.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to continuously enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals facing substance use challenges, including those seeking to overcome addiction. Your role will encompass managing people from diverse backgrounds with varying degrees of substance use issues, providing tailored support that respects their unique situations and aspirations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Washington.

• A robust understanding of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented approaches, and evidence-based practices.
\n
• Prior experience in providing both individual and group therapy within the addiction treatment context.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude in client interactions.

• Capacity to maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality according to established ethical guidelines.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and manage treatment plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, with the addition of performance-based bonuses. We are also pleased to offer a sign-on bonus as part of your compensation package.
