At Evergreen, we’re expanding our Internal/Family Medicine services and seeking a Supervising Physician who wants to make a meaningful impact while enjoying true professional balance.

As part of the Essential Functions for this role, the Supervising Physician:

• Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examinations and diagnostic tests

• In accordance with medical protocols, evaluates test findings, makes initial medical diagnosis and develops and implements a therapeutic plan consistent with the continuing healthcare needs of the patient

• Develops appropriate primary care health regimens for patients utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach

• Participates in planning with other staff in Primary & Specialty Care for the development and monitoring of all required services to patients

• Assists in providing learning experiences for clinical staff and other allied health professionals

• Provides supervision to other members of the medical team

Qualified Candidate will be a NYS licensed, board-certified Physician; position requires BLS certification; awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential.

Required Education/License/Experience: Licensed Physician registered with the New York State Education Department; Board certified in a medical specialty- Internal Family Medicine, Pediatrics preferred; minimum of two (2) years of experience in an active medical practice, with proven administrative/supervisory responsibilities preferred

Required certification(s): BLS

Salary range: $210,000 - 220,000

This position is posted with a salary range. The actual rate of pay offered will be based on a variety of individualized factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s skills, relevant experience, educational background, internal equity, and market considerations.
