CNC Operator - Burning Plasma Table

Diversified is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to operate a CNC plasma burning table used to cut and process metal materials according to production specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC equipment, reading blueprints, and working with various hand and measuring tools.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor a CNC plasma cutting/burning table.
• Set up machines according to job specifications and production requirements.
• Load and position metal materials onto the cutting table.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and cutting specifications.
• Select and load appropriate CNC programs and verify cutting parameters.
• Monitor cutting operations to ensure accurate cuts and proper machine performance.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor operating issues.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a CNC plasma table or similar CNC cutting equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience measuring and inspecting metal parts.
• Knowledge of basic machine setup and operation.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Preferred Experience:
CNC plasma cutting, metal fabrication, steel processing, CNC machine operation, blueprint reading, and material handling.
