Job Description

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients to understand their unique challenges and develop individualized therapy strategies to meet their functional aspirations
• Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and independence in daily activities
• Collaborate within Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to individuals and their support networks on therapy practices to encourage continued progress outside of sessions
• Track and Record Patient Progress: Monitor clinical developments and make necessary adjustments to treatments, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications is a priority

Certifications

• A valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
