Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to design individualized therapy strategies that empower them to meet their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based methods to help enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic, encompassing care
• Guide Patients and Family Members: Provide education to patients and their families on therapy practices that encourage continued progress at home
• Document and Track Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary to ensure patients remain on their path to recovery

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education and additional certifications

Certifications

• Current OTR/L license
• Mandatory certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
