Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and construct individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-informed methods to elevate patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and the execution of daily activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate patients and their families on therapy approaches to encourage ongoing progress at home.
• Monitor and Record Progress: Keep track of clinical advancements and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that patients remain on the right path.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement for additional education or post-graduate certificates.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary.
