Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to determine customized treatment plans for clients, ensuring their unique therapeutic needs are identified and addressed.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate client progress and enhance overall mental health.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide holistic, integrated care for clients, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records and documentation, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements, which helps support continuity of care and enhances client outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in relevant workshops and learning opportunities, thereby staying informed on advancements in mental health best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Peaceful Path, you will work with a diverse adult population grappling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will involve tailoring therapeutic strategies to meet the individual needs of clients, building a rapport that fosters trust and open communication. Your expertise in dealing with specific areas such as trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling can greatly benefit our clientele.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting is essential.

• A strong grounding in ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to counseling practices.
