The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing trauma-informed care through both telehealth and in-person sessions in San Angelo, Texas. Work Environment\n

Our practice operates in a versatile setting, allowing for remote therapy sessions as well as face-to-face interactions within our outpatient office located in San Angelo. Our operating hours span from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, providing you the flexibility to design a schedule that suits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the trauma history of patients while establishing coherent treatment strategies.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, addressing the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and cultivate effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, holistic care for patients.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, acting quickly to stabilize and assist clients.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping techniques, as well as guiding them toward available resources.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in case consultations and professional development initiatives focusing on trauma-informed practices.

• Continuously engaging with the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to enhance the effectiveness of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center, we primarily focus on providing care for individuals experiencing trauma-related disorders. Our clients benefit from a range of specialized therapies tailored to their unique backgrounds and experiences. We welcome professionals who are also open to working with couples, and for those less experienced, comprehensive training will be provided.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with clients compassionately and without judgment.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, aligned with your experience and contributions to our mission. Additional benefits include:
