Department: YVMC Pharmacy

Work Schedule: Full Time, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Day and Evening Rotation 

Pay: $59.80 - $83.72 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a versatile and self?directed Pharmacist to support both our inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. This role requires a high level of autonomy, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently while maintaining strong communication with the broader care team

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy. 
• State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification and/or relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level. 

Preferences :

• Active pharmacist licensure in Colorado and Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain both).
• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient pharmacy practice, with a willingness to learn and cross?train into the other setting.

• Flexibility in scheduling, as shifts may include day, evening, or night hours, along with participation in an inpatient weekend rotation.

Clinical Pharmacist: 

• Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions
• Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education 
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes
