Section Chief - Academic Transplant Hepatologist

Position Overview The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full‑time, non‑tenure‑eligible Clinician‑Educator at the rank of Professor. This leadership role will be responsible for implementing the mission and strategic plan to enhance the operations and clinical quality of the Section of Hepatology. The position will remain open until filled, and the start date is negotiable. Responsibilities Provide superior clinical patient care for a thriving hepatology transplant practice. Lead implementation of the strategic plan to improve operations and clinical quality of the Section of Hepatology. Participate in the education of medical students, residents and fellows. Engage in additional academic activities and research as appropriate. Qualifications MD with board certification in Transplant Hepatology and Gastroenterology. Experience in clinical hepatology and transplant practice. Commitment to teaching and academic development. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
