Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to client needs, using evidence-based practices.

• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of client progress and feedback.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, and community organizations, to enhance client care and outcomes.

• Facilitate workshops and support groups as needed, addressing various mental health topics relevant to the client population.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at The Comfort Place, LLC, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will be tasked with addressing a wide range of issues, such as relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Our focus is on creating a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings and achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• Active and valid LMFT licensure in the state of Maryland.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, showcasing cultural competency and sensitivity.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate within a team framework.

• Proficient with virtual therapy tools and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
