Key Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to assess their physical condition, understanding their symptoms and treatment goals.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and craft individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function and alleviating pain.
• Educate patients on effective therapeutic exercise techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Utilize stimulation, therapeutic modalities, or massage techniques to promote physical healing.
• Assist patients with mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers as needed to ensure safety and comfort during sessions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, meticulously tracking progress and setting clear, achievable goals.
• Offer guidance to patients and their families regarding at-home exercise regimens and rehabilitation options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required to practice in this role.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
