Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Location: Novato, CA (Remote but need to be located in CA) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annual base

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our team remotely in California. This role is integral to managing client accounts, ensuring superior service delivery, and facilitating insurance coverage solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client relations and renewal strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all ongoing account service activities, including processing endorsements, cancellations, and claims.
• Coordinate carrier marketing and facilitate coverage placement through instructions from producers.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather quoting information and review policies, proposals, and summaries.
• Maintain current insurance summaries and other documentation for all client accounts within our agency management system.
• Regularly meet with producers to update and advise on client accounts.
• Manage new business and renewal processes, including initiating contact with clients, gathering underwriting information, and preparing proposals.
• Issue certificates of insurance and ACORD applications through the agency management system.
• Oversee expiration lists, policy binders, invoices, and other critical documentation.
• Provide expert advice on insurance terminology, industry trends, and lines of Business Insurance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience with increasing responsibility.
• Valid and unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Insurance license.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize, and clear, professional communication skills.
• Experience with agency management software such as AMS360 or EPIC.
• Knowledge of insurance trends, underwriting, and industry standards.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Advanced insurance designations such as CPCU or CIC.
• Demonstrated ability to present complex insurance information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successful client relationship management and renewal strategies.
