Pay: $2800/week-$3000/week

Job Overview

Archbold Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment on the Oncology/MedSurg floor. The ideal candidate will have strong MedSurg experience, be comfortable with higher patient ratios, and possess excellent telemetry and IV start skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Oncology unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Perform telemetry monitoring and IV starts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner/Soarian EMR systems
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations

Schedule & Unit Details

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3x12 schedule preferred (4x12 may be considered)
• Every other weekend required
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 to 1:7
• Block scheduling available
• Orientation: 16 Hours

Requirements

Required:

• Active RN License
• Minimum 1 year recent MedSurg experience
• BLS Certification
• Telemetry experience
• IV Start skills

Preferred:

• Oncology experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner & Soarian EMR
