Brandenburg Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and continue our tradition of excellence in resident care. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and management of the nursing services department. The DON will provide leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

• Direct and oversee all nursing operations within the facility.

• Ensure the delivery of exceptional resident-centered care and clinical outcomes.

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice.

• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to promote professional growth and retention.

• Manage staffing plans to ensure adequate nursing coverage and quality care.

• Oversee infection prevention and control programs.

• Monitor quality measures and implement performance improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.

• Prepare for and lead regulatory surveys and audits.

• Develop and maintain policies and procedures consistent with current regulations and best practices.

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

• Minimum of three years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state nursing home regulations.

• Demonstrated success in survey readiness and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
