TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Aurora, Colorado, 80045!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience License: Current state RN license or compact RN license Certifications: BLS; Oncology certification preferred but not required Must-Have: Oncology skills checklist required Weekend availability required. First-time travelers accepted. Floating may be required to meet facility needs. Description: Oncology experience is essential. Candidates must be comfortable with flexible staffing ratios. Ratios are typically 1:4 on day shift and 1:5 on night shift. Nights are various days of the week. 10 RTO days maximum approved per 13-week contract. Specific time periods during which RTO is not allowed will be communicated. Travelers will be expected to manage multiple oncology-related procedures and treatments. Key skills include administering chemotherapy and managing central lines. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Candidates should be able to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values. Familiarity with palliative care and supportive oncology practices is beneficial. Daily patient care for adult populations will be a primary responsibility.
