Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings via telehealth to establish clients' needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Provide responsive individual counseling and crisis intervention services, addressing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

• Develop and facilitate engaging online therapy groups and workshops that concentrate on areas relevant to client wellness and personal development, such as coping strategies and stress management.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to support an integrated approach to client care that enhances treatment outcomes.

• Participate in outreach programs aimed at raising mental health awareness and offering preventive resources to the larger community.

• Ensure that patient records and documentation remain accurate, secure, and compliant with both ethical standards and legal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Many of them seek help during critical moments in their lives, and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be expected to navigate these complexities with sensitivity and professionalism. You will help clients cope with issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma, working to facilitate their healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required, with preference given to candidates who hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree.

• Demonstrated understanding of the mental health challenges faced by diverse populations and a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and models of brief therapy that are effective in a telehealth context.

• Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently while adapting to the dynamic needs of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing virtual therapy and using telehealth platforms is strongly preferred.

• Previous work within a hospital or similar health-care setting is an asset.

• Specialization or training in trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, or other relevant modalities would be beneficial.

• The salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
