Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing structured interviews and standardized evaluation tools.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the unique requirements of clients.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to promote understanding and healing.

• Regularly track client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other therapists to facilitate a cohesive and comprehensive approach to client care.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation of client sessions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their needs are met while also addressing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to provide therapeutic support to individuals and families dealing with complex issues related to marriages, relationships, and divorces. Our clientele consists of diverse backgrounds, and many individuals come to us seeking help navigating the psychological ramifications of separation, family conflict, and mood disorders. Therapists will work with clients of various ages and cultures, requiring an understanding of different family dynamics and social contexts.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
