Overview The University Of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the Program & Marketing Manager, UNLV Gaming Regulation, Program Support (Flexible Work Schedule) [R0151571]. The International Center for Gaming Regulation advances local and global collaborative efforts to enhance the rigor and science of gaming regulation. The Center works with regulators, operators, and suppliers to provide current information, best practices, and tools; promotes research on the gaming industry; and supports consistent, effective standards where appropriate. This position supports the Center’s educational and for-profit activities and serves as the program and production lead for marketing, organizing, and managing on-site and virtual program data, logistics, and execution for open-enrollment and custom programs. The Program & Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Center’s Executive leadership and the Business Manager to manage marketing, budgeting, invoicing, programming, and execution of programs, and to ensure budgets align with revenue goals and long-term sustainability. The role requires high responsibility and accountability, independent decision-making, and the ability to work in a small team. A background in marketing and program management is required. Responsibilities Lead marketing, organizing, and managing on-site and virtual program data, logistics, and execution for open-enrollment and custom programs. Manage seminars, faculty development programs, and informational round tables as assigned. Coordinate program budgets, invoicing, and receipt preparation and distribution. Ensure alignment of program budgets with Center revenue goals and sustainability. Work with Center leadership to advance the Center’s mission as a global resource for gaming regulation, law, compliance, and governance. Support independent decision-making to respond to dynamic department changes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the US Department of Education and/or CHEA. 3–5 years of related professional experience. Strong knowledge and experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media (LinkedIn, Twitter). Previous industry or educational program management experience. Strong attention to detail, ability to coordinate multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. High initiative and the ability to take personal ownership to improve project execution. Strong problem-solving skills in a small team environment. Ability to work independently with confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to create clear marketing, budgeting, and profit-and-loss plans and statements. Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Ability to host, direct, and coordinate small and large group functions in online and in-person settings; speak calmly and confidently during educational events. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of hospitality and/or gaming industry trends related to gaming regulation and competitors. Knowledge and expertise using Adobe Suite. Knowledge of online meeting software (Zoom, Webex). Knowledge of marketing, survey tools, and databases (Constant Contact, Qualtrics).
