Description Wage Range: $25.47 - $39.10 per hour Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Responsible for clerical and reception functions and facilitating communication on assigned units. Primary Duties:
- Provides customer service to patients, families and the cross-functional team.
- Facilitates communications - scheduling, coverage of telephones and nurse call systems.
- Maintains patient records, CPOE and unit census records on a daily basis.
- Coordinates admissions, transfers and discharges to the Charge Nurse and appropriate departments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School graduation or equivalent
- Must possess oral and written skills to efficiently communicate and process information regarding patients.
- 1 year of related experience in a similar setting
- Completion of a medical terminology course and/or a Health Unit Coordinator course.
