Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit
Schedule
36 hours per week, rotating weekdays and weekends; nights required.
Assignment Details
Patient ratios are 4:1. Weekend coverage required. Must be willing to float as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license in hand at the time of submission (compact or state license).
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- EPIC charting system experience required.
- Two professional references required, at least one must be a manager/director.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for adults with neuro diagnoses, including stroke and post-neurosurgery.
- Monitor and manage patients with intracranial bleeds and craniotomies.
- Administer medications and blood products as needed.
- Perform dysrhythmia recognition and management.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
