Part-Time Accounts Receivable SpecialistAction Truck Parts is looking for a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist who enjoys working with both numbers and people while helping keep cash flow moving. Accounts receivable is more than processing payments. It's about helping customers, supporting the business, and ensuring the financial details behind every order are handled accurately and professionally. In this role, you'll work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve account questions, apply payments, research discrepancies, and conduct collection calls.Excellent Training Opportunity: If hired before year end, you'll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with the experienced AR employee you're replacing, who will be retiring. This provides valuable hands-on training and a smooth transition into the role.What You'll DoApply customer payments and maintain accurate account recordsMonitor customer aging and proactively contact customers regarding past-due balancesInvestigate and resolve billing questions and payment discrepanciesAssist with reviewing credit applications and evaluating new customer accountsMaintain tax exemption documentationAssist with other accounting functions and special projects as neededWhat We're Looking ForPrevious accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping or accounting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable communicating with customers by phone and emailAbility to research discrepancies and resolve problems independentlyProficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareProfessional, dependable, and able to take ownership of responsibilitiesWhat We Offer at Action Truck PartsPart Time: Approx 25-30 hours a week, Monday-Friday during normal business hour.
