Our work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, offering you a structured schedule to effectively manage client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client’s unique situation.

• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, in providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, collaborating with clients to set achievable goals and identify appropriate interventions based on their progress and feedback.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care for every client.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention, conduct risk assessments, and facilitate safety planning to support clients during critical moments.

• Organize and lead group therapy sessions, incorporating psychoeducation classes or support groups tailored to client needs.

• Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate clinical documentation that adheres to ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless communication within the treatment team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our detox center, you will primarily work with clients who are navigating the challenges of substance use and mental health co-occurring disorders. The population is diverse, encompassing individuals seeking recovery from alcohol and drug dependence, as well as those dealing with various mental health disorders, such as anxiety and PTSD. Your role will be integral to helping them stabilize, heal, and foster a newfound sense of hope and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, providing a solid foundation in social work principles and practices.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), enabling you to practice within New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
