With a manageable caseload of approximately 40 elementary students, you’ll conduct thorough speech and language evaluations, develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals, and deliver engaging therapy sessions. Collaboration is key—expect to work closely with special education staff, classroom teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support for every child.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Demonstrated school-based SLP experience, especially with elementary-age students
• Skill in communication, organization, and documentation
• Reliable transportation necessary for onsite work
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week); part-time schedules will not be considered

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ speech and language needs using standardized assessment tools
• Create and implement targeted speech and language therapy plans
• Develop and monitor IEP goals and track student progress
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to meet educational goals
• Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student success
