You will collaborate with functional departments, management, vendors, and customers to ensure timely processing of payables, receivables, payroll/labor, and billing. This is an onsite role in Irvine, CA (1st shift, 8 AM - 5 PM).Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamProcess daily labor cards, progress billings, payroll, shippers, invoices, accounts payable vouchers, and travelers checksType, file, and maintain vouchers, invoices, statements, reports, and other accounting recordsAssist in the preparation of financial reports, operating statements, and journal vouchersPost and balance ledgers; maintain and check records for accuracyDistribute paychecks, time cards, and reportsInterface with functional departments, management, vendors, and customersAssist and train less experienced personnelPerform other related accounting responsibilities as assignedHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleTwo years of accounting or payroll experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior computer and data entry experience (Lotus 1-2-3 noted as an example)Ability to accurately input and calculate numbers and operate a 10-key calculator by touchKnowledge of basic accounting principles and applicable California labor laws and taxesAccurate typing skills (35 WPM may be required)Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsPay Range$12.30 - $15.37/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
