Strategic Account Executive

Strategic Account Executive Founded in 2004, NetBrain is the leader in no-code network automation. Its next‑generation platform provides IT operations teams with the ability to scale their hybrid multi‑cloud connected networks by automating the processes associated with diagnostic troubleshooting, outage prevention and protected change management. Today, over 2,500 of the world’s largest enterprises and managed services providers leverage NetBrain’s platform. What We Need The NetBrain Field Sales team is looking for a proven Enterprise hunter with extensive software selling experience and a high EQ to join our World Class sales organization. To be considered in this role you must have experience: Closing multi‑year deals with long sale cycles worth upwards of $1 million Demonstrated history of working with BDRs on assigned prospect accounts to build a top‑of‑funnel pipeline and actively drive it through to close Selling complex software solutions or services into IT (e.g., network ops, information security) Ideal Locations Nashville, TN Charlotte or Raleigh‑Durham, NC Greenville or Columbia, SC What You’ll Do Exceed assigned sales quotas and objectives Define and execute a territory business plan that outlines the assigned target accounts, strategies for driving productivity, and high‑quality pipeline that results in predictable outcomes and over‑achievement Engage at all levels of a global organization across IT and other lines of business Demonstrate an excellent understanding of key selling methodologies that focus on maximizing deal values and accelerating the customer buying process Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of all sales activities through Salesforce.com Leverage an extended team of business development representatives and sales engineers to maximize coverage and technology evangelism within target accounts Understand the balance of driving bookings for today and developing a long‑term, healthy pipeline for tomorrow Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the agenda of the CIO and the impact of digital transformation across all lines of business Construct complex technical and commercial proposals Leverage partners to maximize penetration and scale within your target market What You Bring 5‑10 years of technology/SaaS sales, selling into IT of large enterprise companies Experience working a deep list of assigned prospects, prioritizing them, building a target contact list, forging relationships with champions and buyers, and translating that into significant sales A demonstrated ability to work in a value‑based sales environment with a long sales cycle The ability to learn and explain technical concepts to technical teams High emotional intelligence with exceptional problem‑solving skills A willingness to travel up to 50% within your territory Manual dexterity: repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer Stationary tasks: sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position What We Offer Our comprehensive compensation package includes a base and variable pay totaling an estimated on‑target earnings of $300,000 – $330,000. The range is a guideline and may be modified. NetBrain offers a comprehensive benefits package in addition to cash compensation, including but not limited to 401(k) and medical/dental coverage.
