Key qualifications:

• Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCCs required
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to perform speech/language evaluations and develop/implement IEPs
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Commitment to serving a diverse student population

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring student-specific goals are met
• Delivering direct therapy to students with speech and language needs, managing a caseload well below the state maximum
• Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
• Participating in team meetings, offering expertise and updates on student progress
• Documenting all services and communications accurately and promptly
