If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and journal entries. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and contributing to our company's financial stability and growth. Responsibilities Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Performing complex account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records. Conducting regular ledger processes to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Assisting in the development and implementation of new accounting systems and processes. Collaborating with external auditors, providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation to facilitate audit processes. Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff. Identifying opportunities for process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. Staying updated on industry trends and current accounting standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an accounting role. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, reporting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong analytical skills with a thorough attention to detail. Excellent computer skills with experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
