Contract AdministratorJoin our team as a Contract Administrator and support the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Blue UAS (Blue List) Program by providing acquisition planning and contract administration support across the full procurement lifecycle. You will work alongside government acquisition personnel on solicitation packages, price/cost analysis, and contract administration for a high-visibility unmanned systems program.FWI is expanding rapidly and has been recognized as a 2024 and 2025 Top Workplace by the Washington Post, offering excellent growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.Position is contingent upon contract awardWork Schedule and Location: On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, standard duty hours 7am to 5pm EST at the DCMA facility in Fort Lee, VA.ResponsibilitiesSupport acquisition planning and contract administration throughout the acquisition lifecycle — acquisition strategies, market research, procurement planning, and milestone trackingAssist in preparing solicitation packages, developing acquisition documentation, reviewing contractor proposals, and performing price and cost analysesSupport post-award contract administration, including preparing contract modifications, tracking deliverables and milestones, and assisting with contract closeoutMaintain acquisition documentation, contract files, procurement trackers, and milestone schedules to support regulatory compliance and audit readinessProvide acquisition advisory support by researching applicable laws, regulations, and proceduresPrepare acquisition reports, briefings, and procurement metrics for government leadershipCoordinate acquisition activities with contracting personnel, technical staff, legal counsel, and financial management stakeholdersQualificationsRequired:Minimum 5 years of professional Government contracting experience, showing progressive responsibility across the acquisition lifecycleDeep familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and guidelines, with experience navigating the FAR and its supplements (e.g., DFARS)Demonstrated experience in pre-award and post-award contract administration, including preparing solicitation packages, conducting price/cost analysis, drafting contract modifications, and managing formal closeoutsActive clearance and enrolled in CEU.S. citizenshipDesired:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field10 years of professional Government contracting experienceProven ability to establish and maintain highly organized, audit-ready official contract files and correspondence logs per federal records management standardsWhy Join Our TeamAt FWI, we place the highest importance on creating an exceptional employee experience.
