Position Overview

Ferrotec is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Clerk to support our Contract Manufacturing team. This individual will work with production, inventory, and operational data in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Data Entry Clerk will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, supporting reporting efforts, and improving overall data integrity across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets, and databases.

• Verify data accuracy and completeness while identifying and correcting discrepancies.

• Maintain production records, work orders, and inventory-related data.

• Support document control activities, including digitizing and organizing records.

• Generate reports to support operations, supply chain, and management teams.

• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure data consistency across systems.

• Conduct routine audits to ensure data quality and compliance with company standards.

• Assist with process improvement initiatives focused on data management and workflow efficiency.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, and filtering (formulas are a plus).

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and focus.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Effective communication skills.

• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications

• Previous administrative, clerical, or data entry experience.

Interest in manufacturing, production, or operations environments.
