Medical Office AdministratorLocation: Pleasanton, CAFull-Time | Health Insurance & Benefits IncludedAbout the RoleWe are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Medical Office Administrator to join an established medical practice in Pleasanton, CA. This is a forward-facing role that serves as the first point of contact for patients, helping ensure a smooth, welcoming, and efficient office experience.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and check in patients in a professional and courteous mannerSchedule appointments and manage provider calendarsVerify insurance eligibility and collect co-paysMaintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemAnswer and route phone calls, emails, and patient inquiriesCoordinate referrals and communicate with other healthcare providersSupport billing and administrative processes as neededMaintain a clean, organized front office environmentRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in a forward-facing office or retail/customer service roleStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsComfortable using computers, EMR systems, and office software (tech-savvy)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsSpanish bilingual (highly preferred)Preferred QualificationsCNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Medical Assistant backgroundFamiliarity with navigating the American healthcare system (insurance, referrals, authorizations, etc.)Language (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, etc)BenefitsHealth insuranceCompetitive compensationSupportive team environmentOpportunities for growth within the practice
