Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $21 - $21 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Production Operator :

• Ensure the proper loading and alloying of raw materials in melting furnaces for casting aluminum ingot

• Ensures the casting process runs efficiently while maintaining company safety, quality, and 5S standards

• Prepares and weighs specified amounts of raw materials for loading into the assigned melting furnace

• Prepares all necessary equipment for casting operations. Casts molten metal into ingots; skims and assists others as necessary in the ingot casting process

• Loads specified materials to chip dryer monitors dry speed and condition of dried chips weighs and records dry weight

• Operates forklifts to transport and process materials within the casting operations

• Assists others in maintaining clean and organized work areas

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Effective professional communication is essential

• Adheres to policies, safety, quality, attendance, reliability, good judgment, interpersonal relationships, initiative, and independent thinking

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desired

• Forklift experience is preferred

• Background check and Drug test required
