Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital has a position available for a Speech Therapist Job **Summary**: The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing evidence-based speech, language, cognitive-communication, and feeding/swallowing interventions for infants, children, and young adults within the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, Distinct Part Subacute, and Outpatient Programs. The SLP collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, respiratory therapists, and case managers—to maximize communication abilities, swallowing safety, and overall participation in meaningful daily activities. This position offers the opportunity to serve a diverse pediatric population, including those with complex medical conditions, neurological impairments, developmental delays, post-surgical needs, traumatic brain injuries, and technology-assisted communication needs. About Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital - Distinctive campus devoted 100% to children - National leader in providing rehabilitation and habilitation programs with a family-centered emphasis - Consistently awarded the Gold Seal of Approval by the Joint Commission - Trusted destination of choice for physicians and parents for more than 50 years. **Qualifications**Required: - Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - Current California Speech-Language Pathology license - Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA - Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) - Solid understanding of pediatric communication development, swallowing disorders, and evidence-based intervention strategies Preferred: - Minimum of one (1) year of pediatric SLP experience in an acute, rehabilitation, or hospital setting - Experience with medically fragile, ventilator-dependent, or tracheostomy-assisted patients - Proficiency with AAC evaluation and implementation - Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
