Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy to address a variety of mental health challenges.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand each client's unique situation and creating tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Conducting therapeutic sessions addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, family conflicts, communication problems, and adjustment to separation or divorce.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and adapting them as necessary to meet the needs of diverse client populations.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the clinic to ensure holistic care and improve patient outcomes.
\n
• Documenting treatment progress and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
\n
• Staying current on best practices, continuing education, and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on individuals, couples, and families, providing therapy across a broad range of concerns. Special emphasis will be given to families undergoing significant transitions, including blended family dynamics, parenting challenges, and relationship conflicts. You will work with both adults and children/adolescents, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet the distinct needs and developmental stages of each client.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience working in a clinical setting. Experience in telehealth and familiarity with various treatment modalities will be advantageous. Previous exposure to community mental health and family dynamics is also highly valued.
